"Coat of Many Feathers"
"After reading about the Pre-Columbian peoples in Mesoamerica, and their marvelous capes of feathers, I wanted to make a cape, too. Parrot feathers come in a wide variety of colors, so I imagined green and fuchia feathers. Just how handsome a warrior would be, wearing this outfit."
"This costume was woven with perle cotton on a 16-shaft loom and silver clasps. The warp was threaded with a straight twill threading, and the original design of the "feathers" was planned on a computer program."
