“ALL AT LAST RETURNS TO THE SEA”

A quote from Rachel Louise Carlson – “The Sea Around Us”

We tend to take for granted the huge seas that surround our earth.  They seem so vast and strong, and we think that nothing could hurt or change these waters.  But as Rachel Carlson pointed out in her ground-breaking book,  “The Sea Around Us”, mankind can destroy the sea life and the actual water with his wanton pollution.

This costume reminds us that the seas are precious, and need our constant vigilance.  The strong blues and soft turquoises show us the beautiful shades of our oceans.  The weave structure is a broken twill, and the pearls and silver beads represent the sparkle of life.
